Cody Litzko, Senior Automation and Controls Engineer in H2E’s Liberty Lake office, has been solving problems in a wide range of industries for over a decade! Originally from Rathdrum, Idaho; Cody received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems and Robotics, from the University of Idaho. Starting his career in Nuclear Consulting, Cody quickly found his niche in the review of control philosophies while actualizing dense government scopes. He then honed his interest in automation and programming through work on wastewater treatment plant’s control systems and original manufacturing processes.
Now as a Senior Engineer with six years of experience at H2E, Cody has brought his influence not only to the engineering, but to the way the team approaches the process, “The quality and standard of care at H2E is the highest I’ve seen. From the way we handle Clients and advocate the best long term solution over the easiest and most expedited solution, to our compliance towards our internal quality system. Everything has been continuously improving to make us faster and better to keep up with the industries we support.” Ownership of the problem is an ever-present philosophy that Cody brings as a leader to his project teams, “It’s awesome to see young engineers bring their different specialties together to learn, they’re starting to figure out the ‘why’, not just the ‘how’, it’s easy to only focus on what’s in front of you without considering the big picture ramifications.” This attitude, paired with a love of technical knowledge and an inclination to understand the entire scope, has made Cody a prominent leader of the H2E Team.
Another aspect of the job that Cody has excelled in is commissioning his designs in the field, “Implementing my own work is one of the main reasons I chose H2E, now I get to take the projects from initial talks with Clients through programming and commissioning on-site!” When he’s not traveling to Client sites, Cody spends his time with his wife and kids, leading church activities, restoring his 67’ Mustang, and hunting, hopefully this year he can fill his elk tag!
We are very happy to have Cody on the team!
