This painting, Free As The Wind by August Albo from 1962, has been a part of H2E, or Hungry Horse Engineering, since the inception of the company in 1999. Purchased at auction by CEO Neil Heckerman, the artwork has found a place within the growth of H2E through four office spaces and acts as a daily reminder of our history and the original course that was sought by our founding members. As the horses storm forward blithely across the plain, the founders of H2E decided to trust that their skills and expertise could overcome any challenge our unique venture may face. The attitude and trust to run together as professionals has allowed us to foster the idea of a pure value culture, without the yoke of traditional corporate rulesets.
An individual’s ability to progress uninhibited remains a marquee trait of H2E that provides a distinctive facet to how we achieve excellence. As H2E continues to expand, we are able to provide excellence on a larger scale to Clients in diverse industries while ensuring that the desire to chase ever increasing quality is never lost.
