David Pfeifer is an Electrical Design Drafter based out of H2E’s Liberty Lake office. Originally from Clarkston, WA; David received his Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Lewis-Clark State College. Before finding H2E, David gained experience in the Hydroelectric, Nuclear, and Defense industries as a Mechanical Drafter.
In his pursuit of becoming a Principal Designer, David has translated his personal love of motorsport engineering into his work, “Motorsport is the main reason I got into design, working within given standards to achieve the fastest possible car has resulted in innovative design and technology that have become their own art form.” Just as David documents design inputs at H2E, he also documents the forefront of competitive vehicle design through his other artform of interest, photography, “Watching a car drive around a track is like watching ballet, a careful balance must be maintained between the driver and the car. I like to capture that image. It’s like when an electrical drawing comes together, it’s a negotiation of function and standards, I think it all makes for a good picture.”
With a developing interest in the nuclear industries’ projects, an academic proclivity for electrical codes, and a healthy addiction to Sim Racing equipment, David is on track to be an emerging leader in H2E’s Design group, and a known chronicler of vehicle dynamics engineering.
We’re grateful to have David on the team!
